This position serves as the primary point of contact for recreation services including beach and pool amenities. The Recreation Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, answering guest inquiries, and coordinating reservations for beach chairs, poolside cabanas, VIP lounge chairs, bonfires, and other recreation offerings.

This role plays an important part in creating memorable guest experiences while also supporting operational success by assisting beach and pool deck attendants as needed. The Recreation Services Coordinator helps ensure recreation areas are well maintained, organized, and prepared to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.


Pay starting at $16.50 per hour plus commission and gratuity

Essential Functions:

  • Answer incoming guest calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner and serve as a primary communication point for recreation services.
  • Provide accurate information regarding recreation offerings including beach services, poolside amenities, rentals, pricing, policies, and availability.
  • Book and manage reservations for beach chairs, poolside cabanas, poolside VIP lounge chairs, bonfires, and other guest experiences.
  • Utilize sales techniques to recommend upgrades, add-ons, and premium experiences to enhance the guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with beach and pool operations staff to ensure reservations and guest services are properly executed.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all recreation services, products, and seasonal offerings.
  • Assist beach and pool attendants when operational needs require additional support.
  • Perform routine walk-throughs of beach and pool areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness for guests.
  • Ensure chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and other equipment are properly set up and maintained throughout the day.
  • Greet guests and owners with a professional and welcoming attitude and provide information about services and amenities.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a polite, timely, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Support a safe working and guest environment by adhering to all organization safety standards.
  • Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by management.

This role operates in a hybrid environment, including office, outdoor beach and pool areas, and on-property recreational spaces. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • Most work tasks are performed outdoors and vary due to weather conditions.
  • Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.  Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the organization on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. The role requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Travel required
Travel between different locations is required to supervise associates and business levels. Must have reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License.

Required education and experience
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Previous Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to drive ATV, golf cart and sand tractor.
  • CPR Certification. Life Guard Certification is preferred or will be offered upon hire.
